Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)

SRTA, as a recipient of US Department of Transportation funds, establishes a goal for the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) within federally-funded contracting opportunities.  The annual goal is updated triennially and is accompanied with a goal-setting methodology.  Additionally, SRTA must report contracting activity for itself, and its sub-recipients, twice per year to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).  Caltrans subsequently reports that activity to the Federal Transit Administration.  Questions regarding SRTA's DBE goal, methodology, and reporting may be directed to Assistant Transportation Planner Brett Setterfield.
