The DRAFT 2018/2019 Transit Needs Assessment is available for public review. Please review the document and submit comments on your unmet transit needs by March 5, 2018. You are also encouraged to tell us in person at the Shasta Regional Transportation Agency's board meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Shasta County Board of Supervisors Chambers (1450 Court Street, Suite 263, Redding, California 96001).
The bus graphic below outlines this year's Unmet Transit Needs Cycle and opportunities for input. The public comment period for this cycle ends soon (March 5th) so get your comments in soon. Your input could help improve transit in the Shasta region!
What are we looking for? Here are some examples of what you can tell us:
Which lines should be made faster?
Which areas aren't being served?
Which opportunities are you missing due to infrequent or non-existing service?
Your circumstances which could be aided by improved transit?
How can your transit experience be made easier?
Any other suggestions or ideas related to transit?
Each of these are just examples. If you've got any other unmet transit needs not listed here, don't hesitate to contact us and let us know. We value your feedback and want to hear from as many individuals as we can.
Limited resources prevent SRTA from implementing all suggestions for improved transit or even necessarily improving transit on an annual basis. All the more reason to tell us your transit needs, so there may be a greater likelihood of funding your proposal when we can fund transit improvements.
