The SRTA Board of Directors approved the Shasta 2018 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) on December 12, 2017. Due to the passage of Senate Bill 1, the 2018 RTIP has new regional funds available for implementation. SRTA approved a regional funding commitment of $17.75 million to five projects with a cumulative total of $42.529 million in the 2018 RTIP. Three of the projects are carryover from 2016, while two projects are new. The projects, and their regional funds commitments:
Interstate 5 Redding to Anderson Six-Lane (RASL) Project = $13.722 million
Sacramento River Trail to Downtown Non-Motorized Improvements = $400,000
Downtown to Turtle Bay Non-Motorized Improvements = $1.4 million (new project)
Interstate 5 North Redding Six-Lane Project = $1.6 million (new project)
Planning, Programming and Monitoring = $628,000
