2019-2020 Walk/Bike Outreach Events

A young woman walking next to a young man on a bicycle. The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) is working in partnership with local agencies to implement the GoShasta Regional Active Transportation Plan and needs your input on potential walking and biking improvements in your community!

The GoShasta Regional Active Transportation Plan (ATP) establishes a vision in the Shasta Region for creating a healthy, appealing, and competitive alternative to driving. High quality walking and bicycling paths will provide low-cost transportation options, provide equitable access to economic opportunities and physical activity, and establish more vibrant, people-centered communities to be enjoyed now and in the future.

This effort will result in conceptual designs to improve safety and comfort for pedestrians and cyclists of all ages and abilities.  You are invited to provide your suggestions and visions for these corridors.

The first outreach events are in the cities of Anderson and Cottonwood.  This page will be updated with outreach events in Shasta Lake and Redding as those events get closer.
