The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) is required to prepare and adopt a 2022 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) outlining priorities for using State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) funds over the next five years. Projects being considered include: The Cottonwood Active Transportation Trunk Line Express (CATTLE) project ($1,661,000); the Downtown to Turtle Bay Non-Motorized Improvements ($100,000); the Interstate 5 North Redding Six-Lane Project ($4,581,000); and Planning, Programming and Monitoring funding for SRTA ($637,000).
The draft RTIP is available for review on SRTA’s website: www.srta.ca.gov. The RTIP will be considered by the SRTA Board of Directors for adoption on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 3:00 PM, at which time a public hearing will be held. Information will be posted on our website by Friday, December 10th on ways to participate virtually or in person.
